A recent visit to these healthcare pillars, guided by in-depth discussions with Medical Officer Shri. Rambabu Sir and Health Supervisor Namdev Sir, has shed light on the current state of healthcare services, the strides made, and the pathways carved towards a healthier future for Narnoor.
A Comprehensive Overview of Healthcare Services- At the core of this visit was a thorough examination of the facilities and services provided by the PHC and sub-centers. Emphasizing Preventive Care- A pivotal focus of the visit was the PM Janman program, especially within the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) blocks, where health camps in Bhojjuguda, Kolamguda, and Chorgoan offered insights into the healthcare system's outreach efforts. Currently, no facilities in the block are NQAS certified, pointing towards an opportunity for quality improvement. Additionally, the pending upgrade of the PHC to a Community Health Center (CHC) has been sanctioned, awaiting implementation.
